J. McLane Layton
J. McLane Layton, founder and President of EACH, knew since she was a 19-year-old college student that she would one day be an adoptive parent. She was deeply moved by a story of orphaned siblings who fought to avoid being placed into separate homes. After graduating from law school, McLane met her future husband Rusty, and they proceeded to build their lives and respective careers, but the story of the siblings always remained close to her heart. Nine years later, Rusty and McLane became aware of three siblings in an orphanage overseas who were in need of a loving home. The Layton's were now able to realize their longtime dream of adopting a sibling set.

Ken Alexander
Dr. Alexander attended the University of Washington in Seattle , where he earned his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. Following medical school, Dr. Alexander received residency training at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Boston , Massachusetts . Dr. Alexander completed fellowship training with the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Duke University . During his fellowship, he studied papillomaviruses in the research laboratories at Burroughs-Wellcome Company. In 1995, Dr. Alexander joined the faculty at Duke University . In 2005, he came to the Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Chicago , where he now serves as section chief. Dr. Alexander's research interests include transcription and replication control of human papillomaviruses, innate immune responses to papillomavirus infections, papillomavirus antiviral therapy, and promotion of HPV vaccination in medically underserved communities. Dr. Alexander has a wife and two teenaged daughters.
Linda
Walsh, NP
Linda Walsh, NP is the Director of Clinical Operations & Outreach for the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV Team, as well as the International Adoption Clinic at the University of Chicago. Linda has a wealth of experience treating children and adolescents infected with HIV/AIDS, along with internationally adopted children in general. She is trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is a Master of Science in Nursing from St. Xavier University, Chicago, Illinois.

Bob Woods
Bob graduated with a undergraduate degree in business from the University of Nebraska and acquired his MBA from Creighton University. He has spent over 22 years working for large consumer product good companies in various Supply Chain roles; his current role is with Selig Sealing Products, Inc. as the Global Vice President of Purchasing in Chicago.He is also the current Senior Pastor of Grace Covenant Christian Church in New Lenox, IL He has sat on two Not For Profit boards prior to participating in Project Hopefuls board. Bob has been married for 22 years to his beautiful wife Carla and has two children, Bryan who is attending Iowa State to be an engineer and Hannah who is attending the University of Nebraska to become an Orthodontist. They currently reside in Frankfort, IL - a suburb of Chicago.
Jessica Ward
Jessica Ward is a freelance writer and small business owner in Seattle, WA. She and her husband Rob share two adopted daughters. Jessica has experience in lobbying, public policy, activism and non-profit work. She also serves on the board of Directors for the Community Action Team and is an active fundraiser for several children's charities.

Tucker
Jodi is has 20 years experience as a communications professional and as Executive Director for mission-based organizations. She has been a lead volunteer for the last three years in a church-sponsored home for The African Children’s Choir here in the U.S. She traveled to Uganda in 2008 to learn about the orphan crisis first hand, and God has taken hold of her heart for the world’s orphans. Jodi and her husband live in Durham, NC. She has four children currently, and is in the process of adopting from Uganda.
Dr. Brad Davidson
Brad practices medicine at the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, PA, where he serves as the medical director for the Home and CommunityCare Line. He and his wife, Jo, became increasingly involved in adoption and orphan care following the adoption of two children in 2003 and 2005. Brad and Jo are high school sweethearts and are now the parents of six children. Brad is a 1986 graduate of Messiah College, and a 1990 graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force for four years before returning to Hershey, PA in 1995 to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the Penn State University Medical Center, where he was named chief resident from 1997-98. In addition to working as a physician, Brad serves as the director of orphan care for Humanitarian International Services Group in Colorado Springs, is active in the Christian Alliance for Orphans, and sits on the board of directors of several humanitarian organizations.
Katherine Bell
Katie Bell is a proud mom of six, soon to be eight children. She graduated in 2002 from Regis University with a degree in Sociology. Three, soon to be five of her children are from Ethiopia, and three are HIV +. She first visited an orphanage for HIV + children in 2006. Meeting the beautiful children made her realize that Ishe needed to do something. She could not meet them and turn away. She is so excited to be a part of this amazing group that does so much good.
Liz Moore
Liz Moore graduated from Miami University with degrees in Communications and Political Science. She worked as a municipal bond broker for 6 years before leaving the finance industry to become the Director of Development for a not-for-profit adoption agency. Liz has experience developing philanthropic strategies for non-profit organizations including: fundraising, event planning, and grant writing. She has a passion for finding adoptive families for special needs children. Liz lives in Chicago with her husband Greg.
Mary Z. Austin, R.N.
Mary has 20 years of experience in the area of Human Resources. In 1995 she became a Registered Nurse and worked in community health in both the clinical and administrative areas. She is a single mom who lives in Oak Park with her three internationally adopted daughters. Emily, 15 years old, and Lily 10 years old, are both from China. Two years ago while working with HIV+ children she adopted her third daughter from Ethiopia. Hana is now 3 years old, HIV+ and thriving! Mary continues to work with the HIV population educating adoptive parents who are considering adding these children to their family.
