A child with HIV/AIDS or another special need CAN be adopted! A variety of agencies operating around the world facilitate adoptions of children who are otherwise overlooked.
Project HOPEFUL exists to educate, encourage, and enable families and individuals to advocate for and adopt children with HIV/AIDS and other of the most overlooked children for adoption. Our goal is to help others learn about particular children with special needs and the ways families can care for those children. We are here to equip families and individuals to adopt children who are otherwise overlooked. Project HOPEFUL is not an adoption agency. We do not facilitate any adoptions, but we will walk with families and support them through their adoption process.
You can take a look at our waiting child list to meet children who are in need of families.
Project HOPEFUL is another tool in the adoptive parent’s toolbox to help advocate for their child who was adopted and get them home in a timely manner. Project HOPEFUL has been instrumental in working with several governmental agencies as well as adoption agencies to help families immigrate and is available if you need help!
The staff of Project HOPEFUL is available to support you throughout your entire adoption journey. If you are struggling please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Our support is intended to reach beyond the process of just bringing your child home. We are here to help you as you build your new relationship with your adopted child. Project HOPEFUL would love to encourage you and help direct you to any resources your family may need. You can email anyone on staff by clicking the “contact” link under their name on the Staff page. All information shared with Project HOPEFUL’s staff is confidential.
Many blessings on your adoption journey!
All for ONE!
